Advantage Water Conditioning has been solving water problems in the Flathead Valley in North Western Montana since 1982. The most common regenerative agents used in softening water are sodium and potassium chloride. By using potassium chloride as a regenerate, we can offer you sodium free soft water. Water softened with potassium chloride is better for drinking than hard water because potassium is an element necessary for human health and it makes the water taste great. A reverse osmosis system is usually unnecessary when water is softened in this way.
